On September 1st 2007, the Ontario government passed Bill 171, the Health System Improvements Act, 2007. This new legislation enabled Registered Dental Hygienists to be self-regulated and therefore explore the practice of Dental Hygiene in various avenues. Just over a year later Brighter Smiles Dental Hygiene Clinic was no longer just a dream for Andrea Schmoll, RDH (founder) it became a reality. Today Brighter Smiles offers more than just a place to escape the norm of preventative oral hygiene.
